On Saturday, I enjoyed Upfest, the urban art festival in Bristol. This festival has been going since 2008 and seems to get bigger and better each year. It is now “Europe’s largest street art and grafitti festival”. Artists from all over the globe visit to paint live on the colourful buildings in a small corner of Bristol and leave their mark for the coming year.
This year, the festival even extended to occupying a whole park with painted boards and a railway carriage.
It was certainly interesting wondering around on Saturday and seeing the art take shape. Here’s a selection of the art in progress:
Sadly, it rained all Sunday, so I didn’t get to visit all my favourites in their finished state. I’ll post some more up when I get a chance to wander around and take some more photos.
